YS0808406V1 is a projected capacitive touch screen overlay with 4:3 aspect ratio. It is for 8 inch 4:3 TFT-LCD panels. Different resolutions 1024x768 and 800x600 are for option. This PCAP touch is GG structure for industrial touch screens, and the front glass is optically bonded on the sensor glass to protect it.

YS0808406V1 is a projected capacitive touch screen overlay with 4:3 aspect ratio. It is for 8 inch 4:3 TFT-LCD panels. Different resolutions 1024x768 and 800x600 are for option. This PCAP touch is GG structure for industrial touch screens, and the front glass is optically bonded on the sensor glass to protect it. 8 inch PCAP touch is activated by ILITEK2511 controller with USB interface. It is plug-and-play on Windows, Android and Linux. Below is the basic information for your reference:

The other 8 inch 4:3 PCAP touch screen overlay YS0809081V1 is also glass on glass solution. The touch controller is GOODIX GT9271, supporting 10 points finger touch. The top layer cover glass is the same as the YS0808406V1. The main difference is the communicating interface. YS0809081V1 is IIC interface, COF type, while YS0808406V1 is USB interface, COB type. COB type USB interface PCAP touch screen overlay is plug-and-play and COF type IIC interface PCAP touch needs tuning the touch and the mainboard to matche each other.

The two touchscreen overlays are armored glass optically bonded on ITO touchscreen sensor. The armored glass protects the sensor glass. Its furface hardness is above 6H by pencil hardness test. The touch sensor supports 10 points touch. As a touch screen overlay, it is usually assembled on a TFT-LCD panel. We provide air-gap bonding technology and optical bonding technology. 1024x768, we recommend two models for your reference. One is from TIANMA, 40-pin LVDS, 400 nits luminance. The model number is TM080TDHG01-40. The other one is from BOE, GT080X0M-N12-1QP0, 40-pin LVDS, 400nits. Their parameters are very similar. Personally, I like TM080TDHG01-40, as its contrast ratio is 700:1, which is higher than 500:1 contrast ratio of BOE GT080X0M-N12.
Regarding 800x600, we recommend two models from TIANMA, TM080SDHG05-00 and TM080SHD01-41. Both of them have 50pin TTL, and covering an operating temperature from -20~70 Degrees celsius. The brigtness fof TM080SDHG05-00 is 500cd/m2, and brightness of TM080SDH01-41 is 250cd/m2. Which module do you prefer?
